Play John Conway's Game of Life on your iPhone or iPod Touch! The Game of Life, also known simply as Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. The Game of Life has four simple rules which are applied every generation: 1. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbors dies, as if caused by under-population. 2. Any live cell with two or three live neighbors lives on to the next generation. 3. Any live cell with more than three live neighbors dies, as if by overcrowding. 4. Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbors becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction. Features: Play Conway's Game of Life in a large grid Pan and zoom through the grid for a more detailed view Add more cells using the drawing mode Pause and play during a simulation Reset the grid with a new random state
